nilambu’s mission is to provide access to whole practice of yoga and to foster your understanding of all of yoga’s rewards. Resources are various and abundant in our world; so too with yoga nowadays. This fortunate wealth of information and options can at times be overwhelming. nilambu can serve as your navigator. I can provide you with the tools to aid your own exploration of the complex
and profoundly rewarding world of yoga. With personal attention and specific
instruction, you’ll gain deep understanding of all of yoga’s
benefits so that you can develop a practice that is meaningful, responsive
and aware. You’ll be exposed to the historical, intellectual and spiritual
aspects of yoga as well. Sessions are private, semi-private or in the form of small classes with no more than 4 students. nilambu sessions each encompass physical postures (asanas) as well as control of the life force, oxygen (pranayama) and meditation (dhyana). This holistic approach provides the utmost benefits. This material is conveyed not only in the personal sessions, but also through nilambu notes, a monthly electronic newsletter. nilambu creates a personal yoga studio that is a place that makes the full practice of yoga comfortable and possible for all people – young and old, disabled and able, loose and tight, strong and frail, clumsy and coordinated, neophytes and old hats.
